I love the thought of Castles!

I love how big they are! I love how beautiful they are! I love that there is a room for everything! I love that Castles usually sit on big rolling hills or in mountainous terrain. I love the thought of Castles! I think that’s why I love the song from one of the Karate Kid movies that has a lyric of “I’ll take you to a castle far away”…I digress

Did you know that Christians are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken? This makes me think of a castle. A kingdom usually has a castle where the king lives. My king is Jesus!

The kingdom that Christians are receiving is a kingdom that is ruled by Jesus Christ.

There are a couple of interesting statements from the verse above…

Let us show gratitude” and “offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe

Since God loved people so much to give His Son to die on the cross to save them…it seems that for us to show gratitude to Him we would need to serve Him by talking to others about Him.

Yesterday, I mentioned Gospel Conversations to my church family. Gospel conversations is simply talking to others about the good news of Jesus… Humans have sin in their life. Sin causes separation between humans and God. God made a way back for humans through Jesus dying on the cross and rising again from the grave. If humans will repent of their sin and place their faith (trust) in Jesus, they will be saved!

Having Gospel Conversations with people can help them receive an unshakeable kingdom!
