“I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” John 10:11
This morning, I had the privilege of dropping my boys off for school. My favorite part of today was when each of my boys, before they got out of the truck, leaned their head on my shoulder for me to give them a kiss on the head.
Moments like that are precious to a daddy with a shepherd’s heart. I am reminded this morning that I have a shepherd that wants to love on me like I love on my boys.
I have a shepherd that is looking after me.
I have a shepherd that is leading me.
I have a shepherd that has given His life for me.
My shepherds name is Jesus.
My shepherd laid down His life not only for me, but for every human being. My shepherd will kiss me when I lay my head on His shoulder.
